CAP (Claude Agent Platform) is a management platform for Claude-powered AI agents. It provides project organization, agent configuration, MCP connectors, interactive sessions, and full audit trails.

How is CAP different from using the Claude API directly? +

The Claude API gives you model access. CAP gives you everything around it: project organization, OAuth connector management, session streaming with cost tracking, and complete audit trails.

What MCP connectors does CAP support? +

CAP supports stdio, HTTP, and SSE transport types. It includes one-click OAuth connectors for GitHub, Notion, Asana, Atlassian, and Box, with support for custom connectors via OAuth 2.1 + PKCE.

How does CAP handle multi-tenancy? +

CAP uses a team-scoped data model. Organizations contain teams, teams contain projects. In enterprise mode, PostgreSQL Row-Level Security enforces isolation at the database level.

Can I run CAP on my own infrastructure? +

Yes. CAP runs anywhere — from Docker Compose on your laptop to Kubernetes in production. The same codebase works across all deployment modes.

How does session isolation work? +

In local mode, sessions run as processes on your machine. In enterprise mode, each session runs in a dedicated container with filesystem isolation and network restrictions.

What kind of audit trails does CAP provide? +

CAP captures every message, tool call, and cost in an append-only audit trail. All data is exportable for compliance reviews.
